Services
Website Creation & Hosting
We build websites and then keep them running, which is the half that usually goes missing. Sites are hand-built and hosted on infrastructure we manage, so there is one number to call whether the problem is a typo or a server.
What's included
- Design and build, written for the business rather than assembled from a template that half fits.
- An admin panel for the content you will actually want to change - text, images, services, contact details - without needing us.
- Hosting, TLS certificates, backups and updates, monitored rather than assumed.
- A contact form that reaches you, with spam filtering that does not quietly eat real enquiries.
- Search-engine basics done properly: titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, and pages that load fast enough to rank.
- Ongoing changes and additions, quoted before the work rather than billed after it.
Who it's for
Businesses with no site, or with one that was built years ago by someone who is no longer reachable - the common case, and the reason so many sites cannot be updated at all. Also anyone whose current host answers only by email form.
How it works
- Assessment. What the site needs to do, who it is for, and what has to be carried over from whatever exists now.
- Implementation. Build, review, revise, then launch, including the domain and DNS work, so nothing goes dark during the move.
- Ongoing. Hosting, backups, security updates, and content changes as the business changes.
Equipment Installation
Need new hardware or already have it? We source and install business-grade equipment, such as routers, switches, servers and workstations, or set up devices you've already purchased. Either way, it's configured right and ready to work.
VoIP Setup & Management
A phone system is the part of your business a customer meets first. We set up and manage VoIP systems that route calls to the right person, sound clear, and keep working when someone is out of the office, or out of the building.
What's included
- System selection and setup: extensions, ring groups, voicemail, and an auto-attendant menu short enough that callers do not give up on it.
- Number porting, so you keep the number your customers already have.
- Desk phones, softphones and mobile apps configured together, so one extension reaches someone whether they are at the desk or not.
- Call routing by time of day, holiday schedules, and after-hours handling.
- Network configuration for call quality - the part most often skipped, and the reason most VoIP sounds bad.
- Ongoing changes: new staff, new extensions, changed menus, without waiting on a vendor ticket queue.
Who it's for
Businesses still on an aging on-premise system, on a carrier line that costs more each year, or running personal mobiles because the phone system was never worth fighting. Also anyone with staff in more than one place who needs them to answer as one office.
How it works
- Assessment. We look at your call volume, how calls should be routed, what your internet connection can carry, and what your current system costs you.
- Implementation. Configuration and testing first, porting last, so the number moves only once everything behind it already answers correctly.
- Ongoing. Changes when your staff or hours change, call-quality monitoring, and a review of the bill against what you are actually using.
Desktop & Remote IT Support
When a machine stops cooperating, the cost is rarely the machine. It is the half-day someone spends working around it. We fix workstations, laptops and the software on them - remotely within minutes where we can, on-site the same or next business day where we cannot.
What's included
- Remote support sessions for anything that can be fixed over a connection: crashes, slowdowns, printing, email, logins, software that stopped working after an update.
- On-site visits for hardware - failed drives, dead power supplies, replacement machines, and the physical setup of new equipment.
- New workstation setup: operating system, business applications, printers, shared drives and email, configured the same way each time so every desk works alike.
- Windows and application patching, so updates land on a schedule instead of interrupting someone mid-task.
- Malware removal and clean-up, including the follow-up work of finding how it arrived.
- A single number to call. No ticket queue you have to explain yourself to twice.
Who it's for
Businesses with somewhere between a handful and a few dozen computers, and nobody whose actual job is looking after them. If the person your staff ask for help is the one who happens to be good with computers, this is the service that gives them their own job back.
How it works
- Assessment. We inventory what you run - machines, operating systems, the software the business genuinely depends on - and tell you what is at end of life, what is under-specified, and what is fine.
- Implementation. We fix what is broken, standardise what is not, and put remote support in place so the next problem does not require a drive.
- Ongoing. Support on call, patching on schedule, and a short review when something changes: new hires, new software, a move.
Networking
Almost everything a business does now runs over the network, which is why a network is only noticed when it is bad. We design, install and look after wired and wireless networks that hold up under the load they are actually given, not the load on the box.
What's included
- Site survey and design: how many access points, where they go, what the walls are made of, and where the dead spots will be if they go anywhere else.
- Business-grade routers, switches and Wi-Fi, installed and configured, not consumer equipment asked to do a job it was not built for.
- Guest and staff networks kept separate, so a visitor's laptop is never on the same network as your point of sale or your file server.
- Firewall rules, remote access and VPN for staff working off-site.
- Structured cabling and cleanly terminated runs, labelled at both ends.
- Monitoring, firmware updates, and a documented map of what is plugged into what.
Who it's for
Offices, clinics, shops and warehouses where the Wi-Fi has become a running complaint, and any business moving into a new space, where the cheapest time to do this properly is before the furniture arrives.
How it works
- Assessment. We walk the space, test coverage where people actually sit, and look at what the existing equipment is and is not capable of.
- Implementation. Cabling, hardware and configuration, staged so the cutover happens outside business hours wherever the work allows.
- Ongoing. Firmware and security updates, monitoring, and capacity checks before you outgrow it rather than after.
Security Cameras & Access Control
Cameras are worth having only if the footage is there when you need it and someone can find it. We install camera and door-access systems, set up remote viewing, and make sure retention is long enough to cover the gap between an incident and someone noticing it.
What's included
- Camera placement planned around entrances, registers, stock and blind spots - coverage, not camera count.
- Recording hardware sized for the retention you actually need, on a network segment of its own.
- Remote viewing on phone and desktop, with accounts per person rather than one shared password.
- Door access by card or code, with schedules and a log of who opened what and when.
- Footage export you can hand to an insurer or the police without calling us first.
Who it's for
Retail, warehouses, clinics and offices with after-hours access - anywhere the question "what happened here" gets asked more than once a year.
How it works
- Assessment. A walk-through to agree what needs to be seen, how long footage must be kept, and who should be able to open which doors.
- Implementation. Cabling, mounting, recorder setup, network segmentation, and account creation for each person who needs access.
- Ongoing. Firmware updates, storage checks, lens cleaning and re-aiming, and account changes as staff change.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Most businesses have backups. Fewer have restores. The difference only shows up on the worst day, so we set up backups that are verified by restoring from them on a schedule, and we tell you in advance how long getting back would actually take.
What's included
- Backup of servers, workstations and cloud accounts, including the email and file storage most people assume is already backed up and is not.
- An off-site copy, so a fire, a flood or an encrypted network does not take the backups with it.
- Retention set against how long a problem can go unnoticed, not against what is cheapest to store.
- Test restores on a schedule, with a written result each time.
- A recovery plan naming what comes back first, in what order, and roughly how long each step takes.
Who it's for
Any business whose work would stop if a single machine or account were lost , which is nearly all of them, and almost never the machine anyone expects.
How it works
- Assessment. We find where the data actually lives, agree how much time you can afford to lose, and check what current backups would really restore.
- Implementation. Backup software, off-site replication and the first full verified restore.
- Ongoing. Monitored jobs, scheduled test restores, and a review whenever a new system starts holding something that matters.
Cloud & Microsoft 365
Moving email and files to the cloud is easy to start and easy to get wrong. We handle the migration, then the part that follows it: security settings that do not ship on by default, licences matched to what people do, and accounts that close properly when someone leaves.
What's included
- Migration of email, calendars, contacts and files, staged so nothing is unavailable during a working day.
- Tenant setup done properly: domains, DNS, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that decide whether your mail arrives.
- Security defaults reviewed and tightened - multi-factor authentication, legacy protocol shutoff, and sharing rules for external users.
- Shared mailboxes, distribution groups and permissions that reflect how the business is organised.
- A licence review, because most tenants are paying for a tier above what their staff use.
- Joiner and leaver process: accounts created consistently and closed completely.
Who it's for
Businesses on an old mail server, on a consumer email account, or already on Microsoft 365 and paying for it without anyone administering it.
How it works
- Assessment. An inventory of mailboxes, files and licences, and a plan for the cutover with a rollback point.
- Implementation. Migration outside business hours, then security and sharing configuration before anyone is handed the keys.
- Ongoing. Account changes, licence right-sizing, and a security review when Microsoft changes the defaults, which it does.
On-Site & Remote Help Desk
This is the same support work as our desktop service, bought as a standing arrangement rather than by the incident: a defined response time, a monthly cost you can budget, and an engineer who has your environment documented before anything breaks.
What's included
- A phone number and email address your staff can use directly, with a response time agreed in writing.
- Remote support as the first resort and on-site visits included rather than billed as extras.
- Documentation of your environment kept current, so whoever answers has read it.
- Onboarding and offboarding handled: accounts, machines, licences, done consistently in both directions.
- We deal with the ISP, the software publisher and the hardware supplier so your staff do not have to.
- A monthly report of what was raised, what it cost you in downtime, and what would stop it recurring.
Who it's for
Businesses large enough to need help most weeks and too small to employ someone for it, typically ten to seventy-five staff, and anyone currently relying on one internal person who cannot take a holiday.
How it works
- Assessment. An onboarding audit of machines, accounts, vendors and recurring problems, plus an agreed response time per severity.
- Implementation. Remote tooling deployed, documentation written, and the known recurring faults cleared before the agreement starts.
- Ongoing. Day-to-day support, monthly reporting, and a quarterly review of what keeps coming back.
